Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) is hiring 46 Field Assistants on a temporary outsourcing basis for the operation of Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations across the State of Andhra Pradesh.
This recruitment is being done through PO's and DSDOs to identify suitable candidates in 1:2 ratio as per prescribed qualifications.

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
As per APPCB previous Field Assistant recruitments, expected qualification:
Educational Qualification:
- http://B.Sc with Chemistry as one of the subjects or http://B.Sc Environmental Science
- Or Diploma in Civil / Chemical / Environmental Engineering
- Or Intermediate with Science background and relevant experience in pollution monitoring preferred
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years as per AP outsourcing norms
- Age relaxation applicable for SC, ST, BC, EWS as per AP Government rules
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of operation of Air Quality Monitoring equipment
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry
- Willingness to work in field conditions across the state
- Local candidate preference for respective districts
Salary Details
- Salary as per AP Outsourcing Policy for Field Assistants
- Expected Remuneration: Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 per month
- As per minimum wages for outsourcing staff
Selection Process
- Screening of qualifications and eligibility in 1:2 ratio by PO's
- Verification by DSDOs Sir
- Document Verification
- Final deployment to Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations
